Test Day

MTO-APPROVED BEGINNER DRIVER EDUCATION COURSE (BDE)

We are offering e-learning for the MTO-Approved BDE Course:
20 hours of Classroom delivered on a highly interactive Learning Management System (LMS) software
10 hours of Homework
10 hours on-road, in-car instruction one-on-one with Gene
  • Finish the theory portion of the course online at your own pace
  • LMS is highly interactive: lots of student interaction, activities, games and assessments
  • Road lessons will start after you finish the e-Learning portion of the course
  • All you need to start is a Desktop, Laptop, or Tablet with High-Speed Internet connection

Once you graduate, we will certify your completion with the Ministry Of Transportation. You can request a DRIVERS LICENCE HISTORY (DLH) SEARCH from SERVICE ONTARIO for your insurance company. BDE graduates with a DLH may be eligible for an insurance discount and reduction in their graduated licensing period.

BDE Package A

 $700 (incl. HST)
  • 20 hours online self-study
  • 10 hours online homework
  • 10-hours in-car instruction
*BDE must be completed within one year of registration

  • 4 in-car lessons = $ 270 (incl. HST)
  • 2 in-car lessons = $140 (incl. HST)
  • 1 in-car lesson = $75 (incl. HST)
 *G lesson is 60-minutes; G2 lesson is 90-minutes.

I had never driven and was late in getting my license. There were the anxieties and fears around driving that many experience, but luckily I had a great driving instructor! Gene helped me work through at my own pace, patiently went over maneuvers and rules of the road as much as I needed, and is extremely kind as a person. I got my G2 using the service Gene provides where we did a lesson before my test, I took the test in the same vehicle I had learned in, and he stayed until I had my temporary license in hand! I never really thought I would get to a point where I had the confidence and skills to drive. Awesome instructor, and thank you again for your work and your time!
